The summer term sees us finally move into the Primary Campus and leave the snow behind us (hopefully!), off Elemete Lane with sixty excited reception children and staff who have been preparing for the big day . It is a wonderful building and site that will be used by 1000’s of children in the coming years as we develop into one of the first ‘all through schools’ in the region The benefits are many varied as we have already discovered over the last two terms on the secondary site including older pupils in the sixth form and Year 9 gaining much from working alongside the reception aged pupils.
We have also hit peak examination time as Years 10, 11, 12 and 13 all involved as we race towards the end of term. We have a great deal to cram in before then including welcoming New Year 7 parents and their children for September 2013, Presentation Evening for Years 7 and 8 , school mini musical, sports day, summer music concert and the official opening of out £8.4 million state-of-the-art campus in July to mention just a few! We hope to see you at least one of these events during the summer. Thank you again for all your support it is greatly appreciated. We shall aim to send home a brief newsletter before we break up for the summer.
Best wishes,
Neil Clephan
